Profit increased 16 percent in H1 and the hotel expects turnover worth some €12 million in 2008. Business clients make up some 80 percent of the hotel’s client portfolio.
The occupancy rate was 72 percent in the first half of 2008, 2 percent lower in H1 2007. According to Sofitel officials, the effects of the economic crisis will be felt this fall. The hotel will be closed for renovations for two weeks in August.
