However, representatives of trade unions say that these three pieces of legislation are far from being finalized and, besides the amendments they will bring in Parliament, they threaten to protest nationally in the near future, mainly because of the way in which the coefficients in the salary law were set.
“This law was made without being well thought through and with no correlation between functions on the same level and with the same level of education. There are examples in the grid, according to which a veterinarian earns more than a primary physician or when functions with short-term studies have higher salaries than those with long-term studies,” the Vice President of the National Trade Union of Civil Servants (SNFP), Valeriu Smadu, told Business Standard.
Magistrates, who were least content with the salaries calculated in accordance with the new grid and who managed to convince the Executive to keep the stress bonus, of 50 percent, and the confidentiality bonus, of 15 percent, will continue the protests initiated last week, demanding treatment equal to that of the other powers in the state.
The law will be open for debate in Parliament for ten days.
