Vasile Mihalachi, Deputy Chairman of the Vaslui County Council, indicated that the funds were allocated two months ago and must be spent by the end of the year, or else all unspent funds will be returned to the state budget.
“The auctions were both difficult and time-consuming, and we are now unable to spend all the money by the end of the year. In order to efficiently mobilize the companies who won at auction to carry out the work, we have decided that employees of the County Council Technical Department will be responsible every day to monitor a section of the road being repaired. These will report the progress of the work and check the quality of materials used,” added Mihalachi.
