The SIF sector on BSE ends session with a 0.74% advance, as investors cashed in profits

Liquidity grew to 43.86 million lei at day-end.

The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on the market inched 0.04 percent to 5,129.79 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies soared 0.49 percent to 3,022.26.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF climbed 0.74 percent to 29,887.51, while the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna added 0.04 percent to 10,494.99.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies rose 0.41 percent to 527.81 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market idled at 660.96.

Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) lowered 0.62 percent to 1.61 lei, while those of SIF Moldova (SIF2) declined 0.72 percent to 1.38 lei.

On the banking sector, BRD SocGen (BRD) jumped 0.67 percent to 15.10 lei and Banca Transilvania (TLV) plunged 2.09 percent to 2.09 lei.

Romania’s top oil company Petrom (SNP) parked at 0.2840 lei and drilling company Dafora Medias (DAFR) hiked 1.64 percent to 0.1240 lei.
