The first four farms will be built in the spring of 2009. “Agroli Group will make available fully equipped farms to entrepreneurs, supply raw materials, norms and operational procedures, and provide veterinary control. Entrepreneurs will practically benefit from a complete business, which will have to be administered efficiently, and all products will be acquired by Agroli Group,” said Marketing & Development General Manager Camelia Hoinarescu.
Agroli Group sales rose 60 percent on the poultry segment in the first half of the year and by 46 percent on the egg segment. The company has a 10 and 5 percent market share on the poultry and egg segments, respectively. The group expects turnover worth over €74 million in 2008, 48 percent higher year-on-year.
The company announced in the first part of the year that it had supplemented scheduled investments for this year by €3 million to modernize and expand logistics and distribution capacities, after initially budgeting €6 million for investment. Agroli Group was founded in 2006, and owns Avicola Crevedia, Avicola Tartasesti, Jackmoris, and the Golden Fingers companies. The Romanian poultry market is estimated to be worth some €1 billion.
