Aviva demands that ING and Allianz Tiriac be excluded from private pension lottery
“Aviva’s request lacks technical support. It is all about money. The law says that a minimum threshold of 50,000 people must be reached within 3 years. To make it on the market a private pension company must have more that 150,000 contracts,” according to a statement for Business Standard by General Manager of Allianz Tiriac Private Pensions, Crinu Adanut.

CSSPP is working on the request by the Ministry of Labor to modify the basic criteria for the distribution of employees without a private pension contract. Although CSSPP officials indicated that equal distribution is desirable, Labor Minister Paul Pacuraru says he cannot give a definitive response.

Aviva is the largest private pension company in Poland, with a 21 percent market share. “Investors, clients and suppliers would have appreciated more transparency and stability of market regulatory policies. I am speaking here about the numerous modifications the government introduced along the way,” said Aviva Poland’s General Manager, Adam Uszpolewicsz, for Business Standard.
