Bostina si Asociatii posts turnover of €14.4 mln in 2007

“In purely quantitative terms, we tried to maintain the development rhythm of the past few years by diversifying services, increasing the number of attorneys, and attracting new clients. In quality terms, we participated in whole series of projects, such as capital market, privatizations, infrastructure, real estate and IT&C,” said Doru Bostina, Managing Partner. The departments that contributed the most to the turnover were litigation, privatization, IT&C and real estate.

Among projects coordinated by Bostina si Asociatii are the privatization of locomotive producer Electroputere Craiova, national railway goods transporter, CFR Marfa, the Bucharest Stock Exchange listing of national gas transportation company Transgaz, and the syndicated loan of Raiffeisen Zentralbank Austria and Raiffeisen Bank Romania for CFR Marfa, worth €120 mln.

The law firm plans to expand its territorial network in 2008 by 2-3 branches. Bostina si Asociatii have established a partnership with Paris-based “Ascott Associes” to make legal and advisory services available to French companies in Romania. The firm has 13 territorial branches, two offices in Bucharest, and three offices in Austria, Switzerland and Cyprus.
