So far, five companies launched IPOs in 2008, of which one failed. Farmache said he expects further listings this year. “I do not feel that the failed offering should determine companies to postpone or cancel their IPOs. This was an isolated case,” he emphasized.
“The time when there will be 14-15 listings a year on BVB is not far off,” according to Farmache.
The failed IPO was launched by the Pomponio construction company.
