Changes in Rompetrol’s management

Five new KMG representatives were appointed to the Rompetrol Board of Directors. Danyiar Berlibayev, Vice President of KMG, is now Chairman of the Rompetrol Board of Directors. Sadouras Meralyiev was appointed Deputy CEO of Rompetrol Group on the operational segment.

Former owner, Dinu Patriciu, currently President and CEO of Rompetrol following the Kazakh takeover, will also remain on the Board of Directors.

Catalin Dumitru, Chief Operating Officer of the largest French oil products distributor, Dyneff, taken over by Rompetrol in 2006, was appointed President and General Manager of Dyneff for and .

Emilia Ciucan, who advised Patriciu to sell Rompetrol, left the company to start a law firm. Marius Corcoman, former General Manager of Relad pharmaceutical company, has been appointed Vice President of the Rompetrol Group.

Once the transaction between KMG and Rompetrol Holding was finalized, The Rompetrol Group NV (TRG), mother company of the Rompetrol Group, moved away from a dual-level administration structure, with a Supervisory Board and a Managing Board, to a Board of Managing Directors, made up of six KMG members and two members of Rompetrol Holding.
