Libra Bank sees 1m lei nine-month net profit stemming from consolidated business

Libra Bank assigned 66 million lei loans to people working in liberal arts in the first nine months of 2007, reaching 112 million lei from October 2004 until today. The bank estimates 50 percent increase in loans for jobs in liberal arts next year.

Libra bank intends to expand next year and reach 30 units countrywide against 20 agencies at the time, said Oana Stoenescu, bank’s corporate manager.

The bank had 641 million lei assets at the end of September, 30 percent hike against the same period last year. Some 30 percent of bank’s portfolio represents loans for people working in liberal arts, 47 percent loans for companies and 23 percent for individuals.
