Local companies revise demands depending on applicants

After months of looking for an employee, companies revise jobs, depending on responses received, says Manolescu. In HoReCa segment, companies are forced to make certain compromises related to training employees, says Daniel Ben-Yehuda, General Manager of Ramada Plaza Bucharest and Best Western Parc Hotel.

“Hotels begin to reduce their standards, they hire people that do not speak english, have strange hair does and earrings, which was unacceptable until recently,” says Yehuda. The fluctuation rate in hotels is 40 percent.
