Most in demand are line operators, technicians, and IT specialists for entry-level positions, according to data provided by the Dutch Lugera&Makler group, currently the second-largest company on the local recruitment market.
Considering the current economic context, most companies prefer recruiting temporary employees, because, in this way, they avoid the stages of collective layoffs or severance packages. So, employers no longer have problems with personnel administration, or the payment of salaries, but the main advantage is the fact that they can easily forego the employees they no longer need once the projects are finalized.
According to the Human Resource Operations Manager of Lugera&Makler, Florin Ochiana, this type of service provides another significant advantage: in times of instability, companies can use this method as an “extended trial period.”
On the local market, a company offering temporary employment services receives some €20-40 gross per employee monthly, far less than in other European Union countries, where the commission is ten times higher.
The local business of the Lugera&Makler group maintained its upward trend in this year’s first quarter. The growth was supported by personnel leasing and payroll services, according to the company. The local subsidiary of the Dutch group posted €4.2 million in turnover in the first three months of this year, up five percent year-on-year.
