Renault allocates €6 per training hour for design center specialists
The figure is similar to last year’s, they added. Annually, the company allocates some €1,000 for each engineer’s training.

“This year, we allocated €2 million for 300,000 training hours for the 2,000 Romanian and foreign specialists working in [the cities of] Bucharest and Pitesti,” RTR Communication Manager Anca Ovreiceanu told Business Standard.

RTR is building a new center in the town of Titu, close to Bucharest. The center is to be finalized by the end of 2009, following investments worth €100 million in the first stage alone. Some 3,000 employees will work at the new center, compared to the current 2,000 RTR specialists.

The average local annual training budget amounts to €247 for top managers and €200 for employees, according to a study by human resource consulting company HR Corporate Dynamics International. Only 13 percent of local companies have allocated more than €500 for manager training, the study shows.
