Romania is in the first line of countries where citizens give bribe, a fact which pushed the corruption index up. Last year, one of five Romanians admitted giving bribe while this year one of three, according to Victor Alistar, executive manager of TI Romania.
The survey was conducted on 1,054 individuals from June 25 to July 2, 2007.
