Romania's retailer Flamingo to pump EUR 1.5m in a new Flanco World store in Bucharest

The store will be located in the Colosseum Retail Park complex, Northwestern Bucharest and will unfold over 3,000 square meters. It will be the company's 19th unit on the local market.

Colosseum Retail Park will stretch over 56,000 square meters and will be opened in 2009. It is part of the Colosseum commercial complex which will unfold over 169,000 square meters and will be ready in 2012.

Flamingo International Group operates retail and distribution activities for IT&C, electronic and home appliance products under the Flanco World, Flamingo Computers and Flanco brands.

Flamingo International has been listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange since June 2005. It had a 67,9 million euros turnover in the first half of 2007.
