In January-August alone, the company employed 1,700 people. “The significant need of personnel is due to securing new contracts, for both the public and private sector. These are nationwide contracts, with operations in every county,” the company’s Marketing Manager, Alina Rosu, told Business Standard. The latest contract won, with Romania’s Postal Company, involves 700 employees, she said.
Romprest Service provides a range of services across four main segments: professional cleaning and maintenance for commercial and industrial sites, waste management, road construction and urban infrastructure and security.
The team is increasing by 4 percent per month, while the personnel turnover amounts to 5 percent. The average net salary within Romprest Service is RON 980 (€280). “On the facility management market, companies tend to expand to face high demands of companies,” Rosu said.
Company is recruiting personnel through specialized websites, classifieds, head-hunting and recommendations. As of this year, the company has training programs for employees in several fields.
