Schneider Electric considering Romanian acquisition

"Romania is the largest market in Central and Eastern Europe. I think an acquisition is closer to Schneider's policy," the company's Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, Ted Campbell, said. He added that Schneider is especially targeting producers that are likely to increase the company's portfolio of products and services.

Schneider owns nine factories in CEE, of which three are located in Hungary.
