SIF shares on BSE hike 3.67% at closing bell, on positive data from the U.S. labor market

Deals with shares totaled 31.28 million lei, while the other transactions amounted 34.61 million lei.

The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten best companies on BSE rose 2.14 percent to 6,092.72 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares minus financial companies advanced 2.36 percent to 3,603.17.

The BET-FI index of the five financial companies known as SIF climbed 3.67 percent to 33,312 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna jumped 2 percent to 12,170.03.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies added 2.61 percent to 609.11 and the BET-NG index showing the evolution of the power market gained 2.36 percent to 824.63.

Shares of SIF Oltenia (SIF5) boosted 4.42 percent to 1.89 lei and those of SIF Moldova (SIF2) hiked 2.67 percent to 1.54 lei.

On the banking sector, Banca Transilvania (TLV) idled at 2.31 lei per share, while BRD SocGen (BRD) won 1.92 percent to 15.90 lei.
