Last Thursday, SIF Muntenia sold 742,500 Somaco shares for RON 12/share, for a total RON 5.66 million, in a transaction on the over-the-counter Rasdaq market. The Socamo shares sold by SIF Muntenia and other shareholders were acquired by Transporturi Auto Astra, which paid RON 5.74 million, for 6.6 percent of the cement producer’s capital.
Furthermore, SIF Muntenia subscribed 210,000 shares to hike the capital of Voluthema Property Developer, at RON 10/share. The real estate developer was established in February by SIF Muntenia and Avicola Bucuresti meat producer.
SIF Muntenia reported a net profit of RON 113.93 mln (€31.3 mln) for the first nine months of 2008, about double the RON 63.34 mln year-on-year.
SIF Muntenia (SIF4) shares are traded on BVB’s first tier. SIF Muntenia has a share capital worth RON 80.7 mln, of 807 million shares, at a nominal value of RON 0.10. The company’s capitalization is RON 480.18 mln (€121.57), according to a RON 0.595 quotation set in Friday’s stock exchange session. (NewsIn)
