“We did not acquire a single share on the days of pronounced lows, but acquired and will buy shares of listed companies with good perspectives for growth,” said Mihai Fercala, President of SIF Transilvania, for Business Standard. The SIF Transilvania official added that the acquisitions exclusively targeted share issuers on the electronic RASDAQ market, in spite of controversial National Securities Commission regulations, according to which this sector of BVB will not have a regulated market status.
Officials of SIF Oltenia also confirmed acquisitions in the past few days. “We are giving attention to speculative operations which are following short-term intermediate trends. We acquired shares from BVB in these days, using both funds obtained from sales, and from bank deposits,” said Florian Teodor Buzatu, Chairman and member of the SIF Oltenia Board of Directors.
