The market trend in the banking system is to intensify recruiting for debt collection positions. “We are opting for employees attracted through personnel leasing for these types of positions, because in some cases they must be available only at a certain time of day or only on weekends. We are beginning to form a team with such professionals, especially for a preventive purpose,” said the Human Resource Manager of GarantiBank, Virginia Otel.
The financial-banking sector is continuing to recruit, according to Rohan, but at a slower pace than last year. The bank recruited some 100 people every month in 2008. UniCredit Tiriac Bank currently has over 3,100 employees. The bank’s competitors include BRD Groupe Societe Generale, Raiffeisen Bank, Banca Comerciala Romana, and ING Bank.
