The company estimates a total 35 percent increase of the business by the end of 2007. Last year, sales amounted to €15.5 million, of which 60 percent were sales of hardware and a further 30 percent sales of IT&C services.
"The main reasons for this rise are the integrated projects, for which we provided supplementary services, leading to higher added value. Being granted service authorization for HP [Hewlett-Packard) also led to an increase in sales," according to CG&GC General Manager, Cornel Giurgea, for Business Standard.
He added that business is very much supported by hardware. "Sales of Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Toshiba and Panasonic products alone exceeded €6.2 million in 2006," Giurgea added. The CG&GC manager estimates that hardware equipment will continue to dominate the IT&C market this year, but services and software will increase significantly. "I would bet on authorized services, which currently account for 18.2 percent of the market, on networking, now at 10.1 percent, and especially consultancy, currently at 11 percent of the IT services market," he said.
According to Giurgea, networking services are to rise due to the development of the business environment. More companies are created, office buildings are being constructed, headquarters are being modernized, and all this leads to an increase in networking services.
