The local market is hardly affected by good internal macroeconomic news, analysts say.

“It is hard to foresee a stock market revival, because Mr. Vosganian’s statement was expected by the market,” said brokerage company BT Securities Manager Rares Nilas. Financial results posted by companies for the first half of the year had no positive effect on investors either, he added.

As for this week’s BVB evolution, brokers are cautious and say the local market is waiting for good news from abroad. “We have no solid signs for a rebound, we are still depending on evolutions abroad, so I do not expect next week to be an easy one,” according to brokerage company Estinvest analyst Alin Cucos.

BVB registered a slight rebound at the end of last week, especially on the financial investment company (SIF) segment, as their BET-FI index rose 2 percent on Friday. The most significant growth registered on Friday was for chemical Azomures plant, with shares rising 13.8 percent, after a 20 percent drop earlier last week.
