New clients in the agency’s portfolio, as well as diversified services for existing clients have boost business growth, according to DraftFBC’s President and CEO, Bogdan Santea. One of the events that marked the agency’s evolution in 2007 was the development of the company’s current structure. “Following the merger within Interpublic Group of Foote Cone & Belding and Draft, the agency became DraftFBC Bucharest, and by virtue of its membership in an international network, benefitting from Foote Cone & Belding’s 135-year experience in the advertising industry, which blends with Draft’s new vision and expertise,” said Santea.

DraftFBC is ranked third (after Leo Burnett&Target and McCann Erikson) this year in AdRating , a classification of full-service advertising agencies, based on business criteria by press agency NewsIn. In the same top, DraftFBC occupies second place in terms of “constancy in business” and “contribution to client’ business.”

New clients and diversified services will remain DraftFBC’s objectives, along with other lines of development. “For 2008, we have four development directions considering the agency’s activity on a domestic level and inside the international DraftFBC group. These are expanding services for existing clients, making additions to local client portfolios, more active involvement in new business activities of DraftFBC’s regional network, and local strengthening of international accounts,” explained Santea.

The name change was not the single modification to the agency’s structure. In 2007, new departments were created and older departments were consolidated, such as interactive marketing, direct marketing, public relations, and BTL (“below the line” - non-conventional advertising).
