Dragos Grigoriu and Razvan Warinschi, Managing Partner at QB Promotion, explained exclusively for Business Standard the details of the most recent transaction on the local media market. The two said that the deal was not a financial trade but an “exchange of opportunities.”
According to Grigoriu, the revenues of Tempo Action (which will exclusively manage non-conventional advertising) will amount to some €3.5 million in 2008. He added that the group’s BTL increased by an annul 32 percent in 2007, and the 2008 rise is estimated at 35 percent.
Three main reasons led to the creation of Tempo Action: QB Promotion’s intention to develop, to have access to certain resources available in Grigoriu’s group, and to build up a strong brand.
Coca-Cola’s presence in QB Promotion’s portfolio helped Tempo decide. “An agency working with Coca-Cola for six years has a certain reputation acknowledged by one of the most demanding players in the marketing sector. This is a fantastic business card.”
